Kairon Gracie

Black Belt - St 2 degree

Kayron Gracie is the eldest son of the president of CBJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Confederation – also known as IBJJ), “Carlinhos” Gracie, who is also the founder of Gracie Barra – one of the strongest teams in Jiu Jitsu. Kayron also started training Jiu-Jitsu at a very young age, competing for the first time at age 9 at the Brazilian Nationals, a competition he would win the following year as a junior yellow belt.

At age 17, Kayron moved to the United States, where he continued to compete (and win) and also began his career as a coach for the Gracie Barra team. Although he received his black belt from his father (in October 2009), the person most responsible for Krayon’s training in the sport throughout his life was Marcio Feitosa. Márcio was also his main inspiration as a fighter while he was growing up.
